Ellen Bridgewater | Elementary PhysEd

My name is Ellen Bridgewater and I have been teaching physical education for 18 years all in the Edwardsville school district. I have 4 years of experience at the middle school level and 7th grade volleyball coaching, 3 years of high school experience and coaching girls varsity soccer, and am currently in my 11th year of elementary level. My Bachelors is in physical education and I have a masters in school counseling.

My fitness interests are weight lifting and Cross-fit style classes, spinning and/or bike riding and walking. I still also enjoy a good old-school style aerobics or step aerobics class every now and then.

Other Experience

I played high school soccer and collegiate at Eastern Illinois University. I also was a high school varsity volleyball player and cut my career short in basketball after my freshman year. I have camp counseled several soccer programs, and my high school job was a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor.
